A conventional German fruit bread, the Christmas Stollen is filled with brandy-soaked dried fruits, nuts and wealthy marzipan that’s flavourful with each chunk.

100ml Milk – Barely Heat
2 Teaspoon Instantaneous Dried Yeast
240g Plain Flour (Further for dusting)
A Pinch of Cinnamon Powder
A Pinch of Nutmeg Powder
100g Combined Dried Fruits – Raisin, Cranberries and Orange Peels
100g Glace Cherries – Chopped
25g Almonds – Sliced
10g Walnut – Chopped
50g Unsalted Butter – Softened
1 Entire Egg
250g Marzipan
200ml Brandy – Non-obligatory
½ Teaspoon Salt
1 Teaspoon Sugar

To End:
30g Melted Butter
40g Icing Sugar
